Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the European Regulation No. 2016/679 on the protection of personal data and subsequent national adaptation regulations

Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the European Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter GDPR) and subsequent national adaptation regulations (hereinafter Applicable Legislation) regarding the processing and protection of personal data, this Company, represented by the acting legal representative, in its capacity as Data Controller, for the purposes of processing carried out by entities performing tasks of private interest or related to the exercise of powers, concerning the design and construction of boats and superyachts, publishes the following information in the manner and within the timeframe provided by law.

This section contains information regarding the management of personal data with reference to their processing on the website www.seastylecompany.com. The information is also provided pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, and pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679, concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, for users interacting with the website. This information is provided only for this website and not for any other websites that may be accessed via links contained therein. The purpose of this document is to provide indications on the methods, timing, and nature of the information that the Data Controller must provide to users when connecting to the web pages of the site, regardless of the purposes of the connection, in accordance with Italian and European legislation.

2. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED BY THE CONTROLLER

In order to provide the services offered by its website, the Controller must process certain personal data. These data may be provided implicitly by the tools used to access and use the services or may be explicitly provided by the data subject. The Controller may process the following categories of users' personal data:

  • technical browsing data relating to the IP address, device identification codes used by the user to access the site or services, browser type, and parameters of the device used to connect to the site, name of the Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time of the visit, referring and exit web pages, and possibly the number of clicks;

3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES OF THE PROCESSING

The processing of personal data through the official website aims to comply with obligations arising from laws, regulations, and rules, and will be processed solely for the institutional purposes of the company, which relate to the design and construction of boats and superyachts. Additionally, for website security purposes, automatically recorded data, such as IP addresses, may be used, in compliance with applicable laws, to block attempts to damage the website or harm other users, or in any case to prevent harmful or criminal activities. These data are never used for user profiling but only to protect the website and its users.

4. DISCLOSURE, DISSEMINATION, AND PARTIES WITH ACCESS TO DATA

For the Controller to carry out the processing as defined in the purposes/methods, the Data Subjects are required to provide all mandatory personal data and may provide optional data to receive individual benefits. The data received will be processed by the Controller, both electronically and on paper, in ways that ensure security and confidentiality, and will be handled by formally authorized internal staff who are adequately trained in compliance with the Applicable Legislation, including but not limited to: the acting legal representative, company shareholders, administrative staff (effectively the administrative secretariat), and members of the staff, with regard to data necessary for business, evaluation, and support activities. The data being processed will be handled within the European Union and will not be transferred outside of it.

5. DURATION OF PROCESSING AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Data will be retained for the period necessary to manage the requested activity; the duration is determined by specific laws and regulations or based on criteria appropriate to each specific processing activity. Deletion or erasure of personal data processed in connection with the request submission is not planned unless explicitly requested by the data subject, where admissible.

6. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

The data subject always has the right to request from the Data Controller, using the contacts provided in Section 2 of this notice, access to their data, rectification or erasure of the same, restriction of processing, or the ability to object to the processing, to request data portability, to withdraw consent to processing, and to exercise the other rights provided by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR by simply communicating with the Controller via the contacts listed in the first part of this notice. Furthermore, the data subject always has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR, which can be contacted at garante@gpdp.it or via the website http://www.gpdp.it.
